It’s time for an almighty off-roader showdown!
We’ve got three of the best 4x4s in the business going head-to-head over a series of challenges to find the best off-roader available to buy today!
First up we’ve got Mat in the Land Rover Defender, with a 2-litre diesel engine which produces 240hp. Alongside him, we’ve got the Mercedes G350, which is powered by a 2.9-litre 6 cylinder diesel to produce 286hp. Then finally we have the Jeep Wrangler Rubicon, which has a 2-litre turbocharged petrol with 272hp.
So the Defender may be down on power – but power isn’t everything when you go off-road! So will the tech that’s packed into the new Defender give it the advantage? You’ll have to keep watching to find out!

I would Rate Deffender No1 on those test because was 1st and 2nd Test were irrelevant kind of depends on driver and should be taken on average instead of 1 take if we toke those points out most likely we get
1st LR Deffender
2nd Jeep Wrangler
3rd G Wagon
On drag race both races could be done better and give different results so I'm not sure but they are not so relevant to off roading when going to destination should be the priority not just the first. If we compine drag race should be all the obstacles in one shot would be an interesting race
Do these vehicles not have plates on the underneath? My AMG does and I’m not afraid to drive it everywhere.

That last obstacle was bs the jeeps tires never left the ground the land rover was ab I ut to tip over so in terms of safe the jeep did a way better job

This test was a disgrace carwow. Graham is unbelievable and useless…you can clearly see which is best and can go anywhere car… Merc is the best off roader….yeah right :D. I hope this result will at least get you Matt more long term test cars…cos for consumer advice was shit!
