So you’re probably asking yourself – what have Audi been doing for the past four years?! Well there’s one key difference – the weight! While the new S3 comes in at 1,575kg, the old model only weighs in at 1,445kg! Will that be the deciding difference? There’s only one way to find out… LET’S RACE!

a simple ecu tune will do wonders to this car both gearbox and Engine

new one is more aerodynamic
I would for sure buy the old version as the price difference is too much and the performance is quite the same
brand new model (not a facelift), same hp, more weight? Who on audis team looked at this and said yes, go into production… wow
The old S3 is probably all carboned up, unless it has the dual fuel injection that they introduced and have now dropped …. so the carbon build up will return in the 2021 S3. Go and see Charlie at Surrey Rolling Road… I bet the old S3 is down on power.
But but is it any exciting to drive?

The S3 is the better car of the two, hence it won.
The point is the 0.1 sec the new one is faster dont worth the extra 25k to buy one. And the are many people who dont like the new Design. Especially inside the gearbox thing looks horrible. Somewhat like a button to open the Windows.

Not a good advert for the new one. Sounds horrendous and for that reason alone I wouldn't buy it. Its faster but barely. Wouldn't notice the difference if they weren't side by side. Old s3 for me.

They made a big thing about improved aerodynamics on the newer car, flat floor etc which makes perfect sense to the result launch and low speed nothing in it but at speed the aero difference means the new car pulls ahead.

Old one looks better, sounds better and are as fast as the new one i would say. to bad they both have shit ugly interior.
